Camping Beau Rivage

Between the sea and the mountains, in the heart of Béarn, the Beau Rivage campsite opens its doors to you for an invigorating holiday. Anchored in one of the most beautiful villages of France on the edge of the Oloron (river) gave, you have only a few meters to walk to visit Navarrenx and enjoy this magnificent fortified city. In addition, it is located less than 1 hour from the Spanish border, and 40 minutes from the Pyrenees National Park. Stefano will cook you good pizza every night in high season! And you can enjoy the lovely swimming pool at the campsite. Beau Rivage is the ideal base to discover the cultural, natural and historical heritage of the South West, enjoy the white water activities near the campsite (fishing, rafting, canoeing...), and to enjoy hiking in the magnificent Pyrenees.

– We have barbecues available for general use, a children’s play area, a table tennis table and plenty of space for playing pétanque. – Chips and home-made pizza are available every evenings during the high season from on-site snack. – We have a 15m x 8m pool on site, and tucked below the ramparts is a tennis court available for general use. – A washing machine and tumble dryer are available in the laundry room. One section of the two shower blocks is equipped for disabled people , and there is also a family room with a baby bath. – We also have an emptying station for motor caravans. – A marquee is available for group events and for general use. – We offer Wi-Fi internet access throughout the site. Le Béarn: A neighbour of Spain, a short distance from Biarritz and the Basque Coast, the Béarn Pyrénées combines countryside, plains and mountain valleys. The water is here in his kingdom, conducive to white water sports (rafting and canoeing 10 minutes, fishing below the campsite... Moreover, each stone erected is a witness to the history of France. Gaston Fébus, Henri IV, the Mousquetaires du Roy built castles in Pau, Laàs and Morlanne and Montaner in the northeast of Béarnais. Finally, enjoy the Pyrenees close to the campsite: -La Pierre St-Martin in the Barretous Valley. -In the Aspe valley and in the Canfranc valley, canyoning, horse riding or mountaineering on the programme. -In the Ossau valley, we take a break in Arudy, Gourette and Eaux-Bonnes and a few kilometres later we take a small train... that of Artouste. With the altitude in the Pyrenees National Park, you can see marmots, gentians, isards, gypaetes and lilies of the Pyrenees.
