Camping Le Convivial

5km from the citadel of Domme in a hilly and wooded landscape, the Convivial campsite welcomes you in a wooded and shady setting, in a family atmosphere. An ideal place to discover the unmissable sites of the Dordogne and the Lot, close to Sarlat-la Canéda, Domme, La Roque-Gageac or the Caves of Cougnac...for cultural holidays or sporting holidays with sites tree climbing or canoe trips on the Dordogne

Services: Bread and patisserie ordering, ices and cool drinks, a few groceries, regional produce, ice, ironing table. Spacious modern shower/toilet block, baby changing washroom, free hot water. Houses, flats, mobile homes and caravans for hire. Winter storage in garages for caravans. Leisure pursuits: Swimming pool 17m by 7m, with shallow section for babies and toddlers set in a large grassy area with choice of sun or shade. Volley ball, mini football, children's swings on a grassy sports ground below the pool, slide, and shady porticos, French boules alley. Outside the site there are free fishing ponds belonging to the owners and country walks in the vicinity ( apply to owners for details). Organised Activiies: Canoe trips, petanque (boules) tournaments, dinner and dancing on saturday evenings in higt season.

Around and about in the region: Surrounded by wooded valleys, the campsite is 4 km from the Dordogne valley. The historic castles of Castelnaud, Beynac, Marquayssac, also Sarlat, capital of the Perigord Noir, with its chateaux, monuments, museums and gardens are not far away. Slightly further away, but still easily accessible by car are the beautiful Lot valley, Rocamadour, Padirac ect.

Access to this site: From Bordeaux, Perigueux or Sarlat take the D46 signposted Domme for 18 km. The campsite is situed and visible from the road two km before the village of St Martial de Nabirat. From Limoges or Toulouse, by A20 or D20, take the Gourdon exit. In the twon of Gourdon take Fumel road, D673 to Pont carral and take the D 46 to St Martial de Nabirat. The campsite is on the left side of the road 2 km after the village.
