A campsite in the heart of Pyrenees and near from : Gavarnie-Lourdes-Col d'Aubisque-Col du Tourmalet-Pont d'Espagne-Pic du Midi. Estaing is one of the few villages in France where 'authentic' still means something. As for generations in this village, is still practiced transhumance. Estaing is in a quiet unspoilt valley, a paradise for wildlife Each year Estaing is one of the few villages that organizes and celebrates the old departure of the sheep to summer pastures (last Saturday of May or the first Saturday in June). This event attracts many campers from all over Europe.
Anreise
Estaing is located 23 km south of Lourdes and 11 km south of Argeles Gazost. With a caravan it is best to follow the road indicated for buses through the village of BUN.
