At the very southern tip of Burgundy, with several famous winegrowing areas (and opportunities for wine tasting!) close at hand. Midway between Dijon and Lyon, with easy access from main motorwork networks, so ideal for a stopover on route to the mediterraneans, Spain or Italy, or of course for a longer stay. Lots to do in the area, from chateaux and abbeys to visit, walking, cycling, birdwatching. The Jura is only 2 hours drive away, as is Geneva in Switzerland, so close enough for day trips. Ideal area for walking or cycling. Two cycle routes pass directly outside the campsite.

Exit A6 at Tournus (J27), follow RN6 direction Macon to roundabout at Fleurville, and turn left (3rd exit) to Pont de Vaux. Continue, crossing the river Saone, to roundabout in Pont de Vaux. Turn left (3rd exit) direction St Trivier and Cuisery. Follw road for 300m then turn right onto D2 direction St Trivier de Courtes). Continue for 4km, pass water tower on right then turn left along D58 signposted Romenay. Turn immediately left and in 200m turn left again into the campsite.
