The campsite is situated in the countryside on the way to a hiking trail ; nearby you will find various outdoor activities : tree climbing , horse riding , mountain biking (many routes pass near the campsite) ... Our family activities We have a club for children from 6 years and is open in July and August from 10 am to 12:00 every day except Saturday . THE REGION: The Dieulefit area lies between the Dauphiné and Provence. It combines the sweetness, colour, warmth and perfumes of Provence with the freshness of the forested uplands and orchid filled meadows of the Préalpes, and is partially included in the new Natural Park of the Baronnies (created in 2007); it is due east of the great valley plain of Montélimar. Dieulefit’s territory fills about 270 square kilometers. Since 1928, it has been classified as a place of outstanding climatic benefit because of its pure, dry air, without excessive winds or heat; it is surrounded by over a dozen villages, the most celebrated being Poët Laval, listed among the loveliest in France. HANDICRAFTS AND GASTRONOMY: Dieulefit is a center for many master potters who continue the medieval tradition of pottery and have given their ware the mark “Dieulefit Original”. There are many places to buy pottery in Dieulefit and it is also possible to visit the potteries just outside town, as well as our local Art Galleries.
