About the campsite
The Val Joyeux campsite in Château la Vallière is located near the lake on the road to Bourgueil and Chinon,just outside the village. This small town,surrounded by a forest of centuries-old oaks,offers tourists a colourful,peaceful stay in a natural setting that allows them to discover the TOURAINE region. It is the ideal stopover to discover the castles of the Loire Valley such as Villandry,Azay-le-Rideau,Langeais,Ussé,Chinon,Saumur,Gizeux,… It is the ideal place to stop and discover the Zoo of La Flèche,the DUFRESNE Museum,the Caves of Savonnières,the Steam Train of Rillé; the wine cellars (Bourgueil,Chinon,Vouvray…). It is above all a place for family relaxation,with beaches,swimming,fishing,walks,hikes,bike rides (the Loire à Vélo is very close).
