About the campsite
Hegedal Strand Camping is a splendid nature and family campsite in northern Djursland. The site lies right beside a lovely, child-friendly swimming beach and has a playground with outdoor table tennis and a bouncy pillow.
Hegedal Strand Camping has all the facilities you need for a good camping holiday, such as attractive kitchens and bathrooms. The shopping facilities on site are good, too.
The popular Djurs Sommerland, with its attractions for the whole family, is not far away. You can easily spend a whole day here.
Hegedal Strand Camping is not far from Ebeltoft, home to the smallest and oldest town hall in Denmark and the Fregatten Jylland, the oldest warship in the world. Ree Park – EbeltoftSafari is also a popular day out, as are Kattegatcenteret with its sharks and Randers Regnskov with its rainforest.
Do you play golf? The attractive golf courses of Allingåbro are only 10 km away! Aarhus, the capital of Jutland, has plenty of sights, such as Den Gamle By and the Aros art museum – with a little planning, you can manage it in a single day.
