Nysted is a small cultural gem, centrally located in Nysted bay - with Aalholm Castle and Baroness Island located on the other side of the bay.

The local area is suitable for cycling and hiking. Walk the dog, enjoy the fresh sea breeze or join in the bird and fauna life, which contains many secrets if you look carefully - rare orchids, ravens, night owls or the rare hummingbird butterfly - the list is long, ask the staff at the reception, who with friendly advice can help everyone having a good experience in Nysted.
